Biography

Sarah G. Moore 101 a lifelong resident of Chatham died Sunday at Hospice Inn at St Peter’s Hospital. Mrs. Moore born March 13,1910 in Chatham is the daughter of the late Franklin and Mabelle (Hand) Garner. A graduate of Chatham High School, she was employed for many years as a Receptionist for Dr. Marx and Dr. Chapman Optometrist in Chatham. Mrs .Moore was an avid knitter and enjoyed embroidery. Mrs. Moore is survived by 2 Sons John L. Moore Carmel, Ca. and Thomas C. Moore of Valatie and daughter Margaret S. Smith of Parker Colorado. 10 Grandchilden and 3 Great Grandchildren. She was Predeceased by her husband Louis and brothers Ralph and Claude. Funeral Service will be held Friday 10:00am from the Wenk Funeral Home Chatham. Private interment will be in the Chatham Rural Cemetery. There are no calling hrs.
